Interested in joining Musilon? Members of Musilon are free to join the rehearsals, can perform in our concerts and join other fun activities, like movie nights and workshops!
When you decide to become a member, you will receive a folder with sheet music from us.
Here are the steps you need to take in order to become our newest member!
- Join an open rehearsal!
- Sign up for a Vocal Range Test
- Pay the contribution
- You’re a member!
Join an open rehearsal
At the start of each semester, we have some open rehearsals that you can join, to see whether Musilon is something for you!
At the start of the winter semester, there will be a total of three open rehearsals.
At the start of the summer semester, there will be a total of two open rehearsals.
Sign up for a Vocal Range Test
If you enjoy our rehearsals and are sure that you want to join Musilon, you can sign up for a Vocal Range Test (VRT)! During the VRT, our conductor will go over musical scales with you, to determine what voice group would be best for you.
Costs
Once you decide to sign up, you’ll have to fill in the membership forms and pay the contribution.
- Membership contribution for Musilon is set at €19,95 per half year
- Collateral for the folder is €15,-. You pay this once when you become a member, and get it back when you hand in your folder when you leave Musilon
In order to become a member of any sports or culture association at Universitity of Twente, you’ll also need a Union Card and pay the assocation fee to the Student Union. You can find more information about the Union Card at https://su.utwente.nl/union-diensten/unioncard/
- A Union Card cost €70,- per year and €40,- per half year
- The Association Fee is set at €33,- per year and €20,- per half year
